Dhaka, Aug 03 (V7N) – Prime Minister Tarique Rahman has called on citizens to play a more active role in protecting the environment, saying that building a clean and livable Bangladesh requires the combined efforts of both the government and the public.
In a message shared on his verified Facebook page on Monday (August 3), the Prime Minister stressed that environmental protection is a shared responsibility of every citizen.
"As citizens, we all have a responsibility to protect the environment. If each of us fulfills our respective responsibilities properly, we will be able to build a clean environment and a beautiful country," he wrote.
Calling for greater public awareness, Tarique Rahman urged people to keep their surroundings clean and contribute to environmental conservation through everyday actions.
"The country belongs to all of us. Through small initiatives and collective efforts, we will be able to bring about big changes for the country," the Prime Minister added.
The Prime Minister's message received widespread attention on social media, with many users expressing support for his appeal.
