Dhaka, Aug 05 (V7N) - In light of the ongoing situation in Bangladesh, Nahid Islam, a prominent figure in the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement, has urged students and locals to protect the nation’s assets from potential looters.

In an evening interview with Channel 24, Nahid stressed the need for vigilance. "We must safeguard our state property and prevent any looting attempts during this time," he said.

Nahid, along with eight other coordinators, has called for peaceful demonstrations while urging participants to thwart any looting efforts. The group also advocates for the establishment of an interim government comprising students, teachers, and civil society members, with the goal of eventually transitioning power to elected representatives.
