Dhaka, August 8 — The judicial proceedings of the Appellate and High Court Divisions of the Supreme Court of Bangladesh have been suspended until further notice. 

The court administration issued a circular stating that Chief Justice Obaidul Hasan made this decision following discussions with President Md. Sahabuddin on Wednesday. 

The circular confirmed that, in consultation with the President, Chief Justice Obaidul Hasan has suspended the judicial proceedings of both divisions of the Supreme Court of Bangladesh until further orders.
