Dhaka, Mar 24 (V7N) - Yasin Ferdous Murad, President of the Dhaka District Jubo Dal, stated that Bangladesh is currently facing a severe economic and social crisis. He emphasized that to overcome this situation, the country needs a government with experience in state management, and he believes only BNP (Bangladesh Nationalist Party) can provide that leadership.

Murad made these comments on Monday during an Iftar gathering organized by Kulla Union BNP and its affiliated organizations in Dhamrai.

He noted that the Zia family has always ensured the safety and well-being of Bangladesh. Ziaur Rahman sacrificed his life for the country’s independence, while Khaleda Zia endured imprisonment and Tarique Rahman faced torture for the sake of the nation. According to Murad, no one has made greater sacrifices for democracy than them.

He mentioned that BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia and Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman are currently in London for medical treatment and that the people of Bangladesh are eagerly awaiting their return. The public longs to see Tarique Rahman take on the leadership role in the country’s political future.

Murad further stated that there is a deep conspiracy to destabilize the country, including efforts to pit the army against the people. He emphasized that the army is the last hope of the people and the pride of the nation, and that it must be kept above any political controversy.

The event, chaired by local BNP leader Yusuf Ali, was also attended by Lokman Hossain, Solaiman Hossain, Khalilur Rahman, Ebadul Haque Jahid, Mizanur Rahman Jewel, Mohammad Shahjahan, Md. Suman, Md. Zaman, Istiak Ahmed Faruk, Farhad Hossain Rimon, and Mosharraf Hossain.
