Pabna, Mar 21 (V7N)– Thousands of residents in Pabna, identifying as "Tawheed people," held protest marches and rallies on Friday, March 21, condemning the actions of Israeli forces and their allies in Gaza. Participants declared their readiness to join a "jihad" if called upon by the Muslim community.

The protest, organized by the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement, Pabna, commenced after Jumma prayers at the Chapa Bibi Waqf Mosque. A large procession marched through the main streets of Pabna city, culminating in a rally at Indara intersection.

"The Tawheed people of Pabna from all walks of life have held protest marches and rallies against the barbaric Israeli forces and their allies who are massacring children and women in Gaza, Palestine," a local source reported.

Speakers at the rally strongly criticized the United States and its allies, accusing them of fueling global unrest despite claims of being peacemakers.

"The speakers said that the United States and its allies all over the world claim to be peacemakers, but they are the ones who are creating unrest in the world," stated Barkatullah Fahad, convener of the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement, Pabna.

The protesters demanded an immediate end to what they described as "genocide" by Israeli forces. They also expressed their willingness to participate in a "jihad" if the Muslim community calls for it.

"If the barbaric Israeli forces do not stop the genocide and if the Muslim Ummah calls for jihad, we are ready to participate in that jihad," said Yusuf Arfan Biplob, chief organizer.

The rally underscored the strong sentiments within the Pabna community regarding the ongoing conflict in Gaza and the perceived role of Western powers.
