Natore, Dec 21 (V7N) — The police recovered the body of an unidentified woman from Madhanagar Railway Station in Nalanda, Natore on Saturday morning. The incident was reported to Santahar GRP Police to take legal action.

Local residents first noticed the woman lying on the platform of Madhanagar Railway Station. Initially, they assumed she might have been unwell. However, after observing that she did not move for an extended period, they suspected something was wrong and attempted to get her attention, but were unsuccessful. The railway authorities were informed, and upon arrival, a local doctor confirmed that the woman had passed away.

Habibur Rahman Habib, Officer-in-Charge of Santahar GRP Police Station, said a police team was dispatched to the railway station through station officials to take necessary legal measures. Authorities are currently working to identify the deceased and investigate the circumstances surrounding her death.

The police have urged anyone with information regarding the woman’s identity to come forward to assist in the ongoing investigation. Authorities also emphasized that further legal procedures will be carried out in accordance with the law.
