Jhalakathi Jan 14 (V7N) - The two-day Science and Technology Fair in Kathalia, Jhalakathi, concluded on Tuesday (January 14) with a grand closing and award distribution ceremony at the Upazila Parishad ground. The event was presided over by Upazila Executive Officer (UNO) Md. Zahirul Islam. Distinguished guests, including Upazila Secondary Education Officer Muhammad Anwar Azim, Academic Supervisor Md. Aminul Islam, Principal of Manaswita Women's Degree College AKM Kamruzzaman, and Principal of Amua Shaheed Raja Degree College Rehena Khanam, attended the ceremony along with heads of various educational institutions.
At the college level, Amua Shaheed Raja Degree College secured the first position for the best stall, followed by Kathalia Government Tafazzal Hossain Manik Mia Degree College in second place, and Manaswita Women's Degree College in third place. In the school category, Amua Bandar Amir Molla Secondary School won first place, Kathalia Government Pilot Model High School came second, and Banai Secondary School secured third place.
The fair showcased innovative projects and scientific models, encouraging students to engage in science and technology. The event provided a platform for young minds to present their creativity and problem-solving skills, promoting a culture of scientific inquiry among the youth in Kathalia.
