Dhaka, Mar 09 (V7N)- To prevent traffic congestion during Eid-ul-Fitr, authorities have instructed that vehicles on Padma Bridge can travel at a speed of 80km/h.
Road Transport and Bridge Adviser Muhammad Fouzul Kabir Khan provided this information on Sunday.
He said: "Previously, the speed limit on the Padma Bridge was 60km/h. To ensure faster vehicle movement during Eid, the speed limit has been increased to 80 km/h. This will prevent traffic congestion and vehicle stoppages."
