Dhaka, Feb 12, (V7N) – BNP Chairman Tarique Rahman has called on citizens to exercise their voting rights peacefully and responsibly in today’s national election.

In a post on his verified Facebook page Thursday morning, Rahman urged voters to cast ballots “for whomever you deem fit” in a festive environment, stressing that participation ensures “state rights and ownership.” He added that victorious candidates of the BNP’s paddy sheaf symbol must fulfill their responsibilities to the people.

Rahman expressed confidence that “spontaneous participation and affection of the people” would secure BNP’s victory in a free and fair election. He appealed for unity in building the nation, pledging to protect Bangladesh’s sovereignty and dignity.
