Dhaka, Feb 12, (V7N) – Bangladesh Khilafat Majlis Ameer Maulana Mamunul Haque, contesting as the 11-party alliance candidate for Dhaka-13, exercised his voting right in the first hour of polling Thursday.

He cast his ballot at 8:10 a.m. at the Government Physical Education College centre on Sat Masjid Road, Mohammadpur, after visiting several booths inside the centre. Dhaka-13 constituency covers wards 28–34 of Dhaka North City Corporation, with 408,791 registered voters.

Mamunul Haque is facing multiple rivals, including Bobby Hajjaj of the Nationalist Democratic Movement (NDM), nominated by BNP on the paddy sheaf symbol, and Mizanur Rahman of the Gono Odhikar Parishad (GOP) contesting on the truck symbol.
