Gayeshwar Chandra Roy, a member of the standing committee of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP), said the government on Friday that acting as a “broker” of a neighbouring country will not allow it to remain in power for very long.

"Our workers are fatigued, but they are not disappointed, therefore we have no reason to be disappointed. He stated, "Nobody, including our neighbours, has the power to snatch the way our leaders and workers are still standing with their chests straight by enduring torture and injustice to protect the country's independence."

The BNP leader forewarned the ruling party during a rally that no government could use persecution and suppression to stay in power with the assistance of foreigners.

"By arranging our neighbours, Hasina (the PM) would not be able to hold onto power for very long. Examine the historical fallout from individuals who unjustly held onto power for extended periods of time in various nations.

Then you will realise that you have no opportunity to ask for forgiveness or assistance from anyone because of the manner you and your allies engaged in oppressive behaviour and pillage," he remarked.

The BNP's Dhaka South city unit called for the unconditional release of Khaleda Zia and other opposition leaders and workers who were detained, as well as the retraction of the lawsuit against Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman, at the demonstration that was held in front of the party's Nayapaltan central office. Gayeshwar chastised the leaders of the ruling party for allegedly questioning the BNP's remote controller, claiming that Tarique Rahman and Khaleda Zia are in charge of it. "Where is the remote controller of your party?" Is the Indian Prime Minister, Modi, the National Security Advisor, Amit Shah, the Home Minister, or someone else holding the remote control of your government? You must operate using their remote controller," he said.

Referring to the statement made by Obaidul Quader, the general secretary of the Awami League, that their government would not have conducted the 12th parliamentary election if India had not supported it in the face of numerous nations' conspiracies in the name of democracy. "So, India is maintaining your dominance...Democracy appears to imply by India, for India, and by India. He chastised the administration for doing nothing to stop the Indian Border Security Force from killing Bangladeshis near the border.

At the rallies, thousands of BNP officials, workers, and affiliated bodies carried banners, festoons, and pictures of Tarique and Khaleda. They staged a parade at Nayapaltan following the gathering, chanting various anti-government chants.
