Gaza, July 11 (V7N) – Despite ongoing ceasefire negotiations, Israel continues its deadly assault on the Gaza Strip. In the last 24 hours alone, over 100 locations were targeted, and at least 82 Palestinians were killed, according to a report by Al Jazeera on Thursday (July 10).

Among the casualties were 16 civilians—including 10 children and four women—who were killed while attempting to reach Deir al-Balah in central Gaza for baby food and medical treatment.

The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) also conducted airstrikes on residential buildings in the southern city of Khan Younis, injuring several others.

While reports suggest that both Hamas and Israel have come to an agreement on a ceasefire framework, violence on the ground remains unabated.

So far, more than 57,000 Palestinians have been killed in the 21-month-long Israeli offensive, making it one of the deadliest military campaigns in recent history.

International observers and humanitarian agencies continue to express deep concern over the humanitarian catastrophe in Gaza, as the death toll climbs and essential supplies dwindle.
