New Zealand Cricket (NZC) has revealed the itinerary for England's three-Test tour of New Zealand, set to take place later this year. The tour will include matches at Hagley Oval in Christchurch, the Basin Reserve in Wellington, and Seddon Park in Hamilton.
The highly anticipated series will kick off with back-to-back matches at Hagley Oval, Christchurch, from November 28, followed by the second Test at the Basin Reserve, Wellington, starting on December 6. The tour will culminate with the third and final Test at Seddon Park in Hamilton, commencing on December 14 and concluding on December 18.
NZC Chief Executive Scott Weenink expressed optimism regarding the growing popularity of Test cricket in New Zealand, citing recent successful home series against Australia and South Africa that drew capacity crowds.
Weenink highlighted the significance of converting public interest into tangible support, with increased ticket sales and record viewership numbers observed during the recent Test matches.
