Tel Aviv, Oct 26 (V7N)- Israel has announced a halt to its airstrikes on Iran, which targeted Iranian military facilities over the past several days. Israeli military spokesman Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari confirmed the end of the airstrikes on Saturday morning, stating that the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) had successfully "neutralized immediate threats" from Iran’s ballistic missile capabilities.

In a Friday night statement, the IDF explained the strikes were in response to "Iran's recent and sustained missile attacks." Israel claims the operation successfully disrupted potential threats to Israeli security, marking it as a “successful mission.” The United States also acknowledged Israel's airstrikes on Iranian targets, emphasizing Israel's right to self-defense.

Rear Admiral Hagari issued a warning, stating, “If Iran initiates new hostilities, Israel will be forced to respond.”
