New Delhi, Apr 24 (V7N)- Prime Minister Narendra Modi has issued a stern warning to terrorists and their supporters in the wake of the deadly attack on tourists in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir. Speaking at a government function in Madhubani district, Bihar, on the occasion of Panchayati Raj Day, Modi said India will hunt down and punish those responsible—no matter where they are.

“I want to tell the world that whoever the terrorists are, India will find them,” said Modi. “And India will ensure their punishment. Whatever needs to be done, we will do it.”

The Prime Minister condemned the attack, calling it an assault on the soul of India, and warned of unimaginable consequences for the perpetrators. “The time has come to grind everything of the miscreants to dust,” he declared, visibly angry during his speech.

Referring to the nation’s collective grief, Modi said, “Crores of countrymen have been hurt by the terrorist attack in Pahalgam. The entire country stands in solidarity with the families of the deceased. The grief and anger of India are united in this moment.”

Before beginning his address, the Prime Minister paid tribute to the victims and called for a moment of silence among the thousands present at the rally, saluting the lives lost in the tragic attack.

The strong remarks come amid rising tensions between India and Pakistan, as India blames Pakistani-based militants for the attack and has already begun taking diplomatic and security measures in response.
