In order to guarantee high-quality education, Bangladesh President Mohammed Shahabuddin has instructed university administrators to step up their oversight efforts.

Ensuring the quality of education in tandem with the growth of higher education holds great significance. During their courtesy visit, the National University (NU) group was briefed by the President on the significant role the university can play in this area by stepping up their oversight.

Subsequently, Md. Joynal Abedin, the president's press secretary, informed the media that the delegation had informed the head of the state about the university's educational initiatives and intentions during the meeting.

The delegation was led by Prof. Dr. Md. Moshiur Rahman, Vice-Chancellor of NU. The VC was accompanied by three other delegation members: NU pro-VC Architect Prof. Dr. Nizamuddin Ahmed, NU Registrar Mollah Mahfuz Al-Hossein, and Treasurer Professor Abdus Salam Howlader.

According to the press secretary, the President and the Chancellor of the institutions were asked by the NU VC to preside over the National University's second convocation, which is anticipated to take place in the final month of this year.

The Head of State stressed extracurricular activities in addition to official educational courses, saying that students may earn a higher degree and establish themselves as deserving citizens in both the national and international spheres.

The chancellor of the university also gave the go-ahead for the administration to implement measures that would improve the quality of teacher preparation on campus.

In addition, he recommended adding skill-based courses to the already-existing academic offerings on universities. The meeting was attended by the president's secretaries.
