Dhaka, Aug 27 (V7N): On Tuesday, Russian Ambassador to Bangladesh, Alexander Vikentyevich Mantytskiy, met with interim government Chief Adviser Prof. Muhammad Yunus to address various matters of mutual interest. The discussion took place at the State Guesthouse Jamuna and was attended by Adviser Ali Imam Majumder and Principal Coordinator for Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) affairs, Lamiya Morshed.
During the meeting, Russia reaffirmed its commitment to collaborative efforts in enhancing trade, economic ties, scientific and technical cooperation, as well as cultural and humanitarian exchanges.
In a congratulatory message to Prof. Yunus, Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation and Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin emphasized that Bangladesh-Russia relations are grounded in friendship and mutual respect. The Russian Embassy in Dhaka highlighted the ongoing positive development of these relations.
