Dhaka, Dec 18, (V7N) - A fire that broke out in the Koral Bosti area of the capital has been brought under control. The blaze was extinguished by 5:12 PM on Wednesday. No casualties have been reported from the incident.
Anwarul Islam Dolon, a spokesperson for the Fire Service, provided this information. The fire reportedly started around 4:00 PM in the Koral Bosti slum area. Following this, seven fire units were dispatched to the scene to control the flames. The first fire unit arrived at the site at 4:39 PM, and after approximately half an hour of effort, they were able to bring the fire under control.
This incident highlights the quick response of the fire service, who managed to prevent the spread of the fire and ensured the safety of the local residents, despite the challenging circumstances. There have been no reports of casualties or significant damage as of now, but further assessments of the situation are expected. The cause of the fire has not yet been disclosed.
