Pabna, Jan 05, (V7N) - In Ishwardi, Pabna, 18 students were rewarded with bicycles after attending the five daily prayers regularly for 40 days at a newly built mosque. The bicycles were handed over to the students by the mosque's founder, Alhaj Mohammad Nazrul Islam, on Saturday, January 4th, during a special ceremony in the village of Bansherbada.
Alhaj Mohammad Nazrul Islam, a prominent businessman, philanthropist, and former chairman of Bansherbada Multipurpose High School, had constructed the Baytullah Nur Jame Masjid in the area. Upon completion of the mosque, he announced that students who attended all five prayers in congregation for 40 consecutive days would receive a bicycle as a reward. In line with his promise, 18 students received bicycles.
The event was attended by special guests including expatriate educator Ahanaf Abid Samin, while Hafiz Maulana Nasir Ahmad, Hafiz Maulana Nijam Uddin, Hafiz Maulana Abdul Aziz, Hafiz Maulana Ziaul Islam Biswas, Hafiz Maulana Shahriar, Hafiz Maulana Riazul Islam Roni, Hafiz Maulana Omar Faruk, Hafiz Maulana Belal Hossain, Hafiz Maulana Rafiqul Islam, and the mosque's president, Masudul Hasan Masud, were also present.
The speakers at the event praised the students' commitment, highlighting that it is difficult for even an imam to lead prayers for 40 consecutive days. They expressed hope that these students would continue their positive habits and inspire others.
Alhaj Mohammad Nazrul Islam said, "In our country, many children stray from the right path. To encourage them to perform their prayers, I announced this reward. Alhamdulillah, 18 students have been inspired to pray regularly. I hope that their example will motivate others as well."
