Dhaka, Dec 04 (V7N) — BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi has issued a strong warning to India, stating that Bangladesh might lay claim to Bengal, Bihar, and Orissa if India continues its alleged communal aggression and ill will. He made the remarks during a protest rally organized by the Bangladesh Puja Udjab Front in Dhaka.

The rally, held to condemn the attack on the Bangladesh Assistant High Commission building in Agartala, began at the Press Club and concluded at Paltan. Addressing the crowd, Rizvi criticized the incident as a "major provocation" and warned that Bangladesh would not forget such actions.

"Unable to accept the fall of former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, the Indian media has resorted to spreading false propaganda about Bangladesh to aid the BJP's agenda," he alleged. Rizvi also accused the BJP of fueling violence through orthodox Hindu nationalism, claiming that the party thrives on hatred and division.

Despite his criticism, Rizvi clarified that the people of Bangladesh hold no hostility toward the common people of India. However, he emphasized that if the BJP continues its alleged extremist policies and threats against Bangladesh, every patriot in the country would rise to defend its independence and sovereignty.

Rizvi further declared that Bangladesh "will never bow down" and would preserve its dignity against any aggression. The BNP leader’s remarks reflect heightened tensions following the attack in Agartala and growing dissatisfaction with the BJP's policies.
