Dhaka, Apr 25 (V7N)- The Khilafat Majlis has strongly demanded the cancellation of the Women's Affairs Reform Commission's proposed report, terming it Islamophobic. The party's protest rally and march took place on Friday afternoon, following Jumma prayers, at the north gate of the Baitul Mukarram National Mosque.

In his speech, the party's Ameer Maulana Ahmad Ali Qasemi condemned the report, calling the commission's demands discriminatory and harmful to Muslims. He urged the government to reject the commission's report, which he described as full of hatred towards the Islamic community.

The protest also included calls to halt the oppression of Muslims in India. Qasemi declared that if the situation does not improve, the Khilafat Majlis would initiate a nationwide protest against the treatment of Muslims in India.

Following the rally, the protesters held a march from Baitul Mukarram to the Paltan intersection, highlighting their demands and calling for greater protection of Muslim rights.
