Dhaka, Feb 22 (V7N) — Prime Minister Tarique Rahman held a meeting with Dr. Abdullah Zafar H. Bin Abia, the Ambassador of Saudi Arabia to Bangladesh, at the Cabinet Division of the Secretariat on Sunday morning.

During the meeting, the Saudi envoy congratulated the Prime Minister on forming the new government and conveyed a congratulatory message from the Saudi Crown Prince.

The discussion focused on strengthening the longstanding friendly relations between Bangladesh and Saudi Arabia, as well as exploring cooperation on various socio-economic issues of mutual interest.

Earlier in the morning, Prime Minister Tarique Rahman arrived at the Secretariat around 9:00 am to attend official duties, where he was received by Principal Secretary ABM Abdus Sattar.
