Pakistan and Azerbaijan are poised to significantly elevate their economic relations, aiming to boost bilateral investments up to 2 billion U.S. dollars through various mutually beneficial projects. Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, in a joint press statement with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, announced the commitment to initiate agreements totaling 2 billion U.S. dollars, with the potential for substantial growth in the future.

President Aliyev highlighted that these initial investments will focus on sectors such as energy, connectivity, infrastructure, and defense industries. Emphasizing the broad scope of their partnership, he underscored the intention to forge a robust alliance encompassing political, economic, and trade investments between Pakistan and Azerbaijan.
