Kushtia, Jan 9, (V7N) - The Islamic University Students' Association of NS (IUSANS) hosted a Freshers' Reception and Farewell Ceremony on Thursday at the TSCC Room 116 of Islamic University (IU). The event was presided over by Sajjatullah Sheikh, the organization's president.

The ceremony featured Dr. AKM Shamsul Haque Siddiqui, a professor in the Department of Arabic Language and Literature and Provost of Sheikh Hasina Hall, as the chief guest. Other notable attendees included Shahid Kausar, Saifullah Al Hadi, Niaz Makhdum, Imran Mahmud, and Nahid Hasan, with the program hosted by Zubair Ahmad and Shamim.

In his speech, Sajjatullah Sheikh emphasized the organization's dedication to fostering collaboration among members and continuing its impactful activities.

Chief guest Dr. AKM Shamsul Haque Siddiqui reflected on the challenges faced by students from madrasah backgrounds in the past, highlighting their progress at Islamic University.

“Madrasah students should channel their talents to contribute meaningfully to societal development,” he remarked. He also urged students from Jhalokati NS Kamil Madrasah to stay united and connected, no matter their location.

The event successfully brought together students, fostering a spirit of unity and encouraging them to work towards their academic and personal growth.
