Khagrachari, Mar 29 (V7N)– Khagrachari Hill District Council Chairman Jiruna Tripura attended the annual Gita and Moral Education Examination award and certificate distribution ceremony at the Khagrachari Central Lakshmi Narayan Temple, stressing the importance of moral education.

"On Friday afternoon, Khagrachari Hill District Council Chairman Jiruna Tripura was present as the chief guest at the annual evaluation exam award and certificate distribution ceremony of the Gita and Moral Education School at the Khagrachari Central Lakshmi Narayan Temple," a local event organizer confirmed.

During his address, Chairman Jiruna Tripura highlighted the significance of the Gita as a life guide and the necessity of moral education, starting from the family level.

"During the program, Zilla Parishad Chairman Jiruna Tripura said, 'Gita is a religious scripture in which everything in life exists. Students must receive moral education. Moral education must start from every family. If educated in moral education, no one will go astray,'" Chairman Tripura stated.

He also commended the Sanatani community for their efforts in promoting the teachings of the Gita.

"He praised the Sanatanis for their activities in propagating the Gita," an event attendee reported.

The event featured various auspicious programs and was attended by several notable guests.

"The day was completed with various auspicious programs. The program was attended by special guests including Ashok Majumdar, President of Khagrachari District Branch of Bangladesh Puja Udjavan Parishad and Member Secretary of Sanatan Samaj Kalyan Parishad Central Committee, Tamal Das Liton, Joint Secretary of Sanatan Samaj Kalyan Parishad Central Committee, Khagrachari Gitanuragi Chittaranjan Deb, Gitanuragi Dhana Chandra Sen, Sanatan Samaj Kalyan Parishad Central Committee Member Ranjit Dey, President of Yuba Parishad Central Committee Shekhar Sen and Nayan Archajya," a program roster confirmed.
