Mongla, Nov 28 (V7N) – An electoral courtyard meeting was organized in Shahjalal Para of Mongla municipality on Friday afternoon as part of ongoing political outreach promoting the 'Dhaner Shish' symbol and the 31-point agenda. The event saw active participation from local leaders, grassroots supporters, and nomination aspirants ahead of the upcoming national election.

The meeting was attended as the chief guest by Md. Zulfiqar Ali, President of Mongla Municipal BNP, former municipal mayor, and a nomination seeker for the Bagerhat-3 (Mongla–Rampal–Fakirhat) constituency. Addressing party members and local residents, Zulfiqar Ali said he has been working closely with BNP leaders and activists to strengthen the campaign in support of the 'Dhaner Shish' and to advance the party’s 31-point program.

He added that he is seeking the party’s nomination and expressed confidence that, if nominated, he would be able to deliver electoral victory in the constituency. Zulfiqar Ali stated that his goal is to dedicate the seat to BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia and Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman by ensuring a strong mandate.

Local BNP leaders present at the event included Upazila BNP President Abdul Mannan Howlader, Municipal BNP General Secretary Mahbubur Rahman Manik, Municipal Mahila Dal President Kamala Begum, and former municipal councilors Md. Khorshed Alam and Md. Alauddin. Speakers at the meeting emphasized grassroots unity, strengthened coordination, and expanded voter outreach in the coming weeks.

The gathering concluded with calls for peaceful political engagement and increased public participation in the upcoming election period.
