Jan 22 (V7N) - The Islami University (IU) administration has announced plans to take legal action against individuals participating in or supporting activities of the banned Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL), either openly or covertly.

The announcement came through a notification issued on Wednesday, signed by the university's proctor, Dr. Shahinuzzaman.

The notification emphasized that anyone associated with the activities of the banned organization, declared illegal by the People's Republic of Bangladesh government, would face legal consequences.

Addressing the matter, Dr. Shahinuzzaman stated, “This decision has been made to maintain peace on campus and ensure the smooth conduct of educational programs.”

The IU administration's firm stance underscores its commitment to fostering a peaceful academic environment, free from disruptions caused by banned organizations.
