Dhaka, Apr 12 (V7N) – With the dawn of Pahela Boishakh, Chhayanaut will once again awaken the soul of Bengal through its traditional morning program at Ramna Udyan, calling on all Bengalis to become pilgrims on the path of liberation. This year’s theme, “My liberation is in the light of light,” reflects a collective yearning for hope, unity, and enlightenment.

Details of the Bangabbaran 1432 program were revealed at a press conference held at the Chhayanaut Cultural Bhavan auditorium in Dhanmondi on Friday afternoon.

In a statement, Chhayanaut expressed concern over the decline of humanity and values globally and nationally, yet maintained an unwavering optimism. “We do not lose hope. We dream of walking together, hand in hand. A time will come when we will all rise again — with love for people, for our land, and for this world,” read the press release.

As per tradition, the program will begin at dawn with the soothing notes of Raga Bhairavi, symbolizing a new beginning. The event is designed around themes of light, nature, love, patriotism, humanity, and self-awakening, urging the Bengali society to take up the cause of liberation through enlightenment and unity.

The two-hour long celebration will be broadcast live on Chhayanaut’s YouTube channel (youtube.com/@chhayanautbd), Facebook page (facebook.com/chhayanautbd), and BTV.

This year’s lineup includes 9 ensemble performances, 12 solo songs, and 3 recitations, with over 150 artists set to take part in the cultural festivities.

Chhayanaut extended gratitude to the law enforcement agencies and the Public Works Department for their continuous support in ensuring a smooth and secure celebration. Additionally, volunteers from the Thirteenth Hussars Open Rover Group, along with Chhayanaut staff, are contributing tirelessly to the event’s preparation and coordination.

The stage and decorations have been creatively planned by Sujan Chowdhury, a former Chhayanaut student, promising a vibrant visual homage to Bengali heritage and hope.

As Bangladesh welcomes Bengali Year 1432, Chhayanaut’s message remains clear: only in the light of truth, love, and unity can true liberation be found.
