Buenos Aires, Aug 23 (V7N) – The Argentina Football Association (AFA) has officially confirmed that the reigning world champions, led by Lionel Messi and Emiliano Martínez, will tour India in November 2025.

In a statement issued Friday, the AFA announced that the national team, under coach Lionel Scaloni, will play a series of friendly matches during two FIFA international windows. The first will be held in the United States from October 6–14, while the second is scheduled for November 10–18, featuring fixtures in Luanda, Angola and Kerala, India.

While the AFA has confirmed India as a destination, the exact city, venue, and opponents are yet to be announced.

Argentina last visited India in 2011, when they faced Venezuela at Kolkata’s Salt Lake Stadium. This year’s tour was initially in doubt due to scheduling complications, but with confirmation from AFA, Indian football fans are set to welcome Messi and his teammates after a 14-year gap.
