Dhaka, Mar 20 (V7N) – The Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) has announced a 23-member squad for two upcoming international matches against Singapore and Vietnam. The squad, revealed on Friday, sees the return of Bishwanath Ghosh, Fahmidul Islam, Armaan Faisal, and Mirajul Islam.
Coach Javier Cabrera has not included any new faces in the squad, while Hamza Chowdhury and Shamit Som are expected to retain their spots.
Bangladesh will first face Vietnam in a friendly match on March 26, followed by their final AFC Asian Cup qualifier against Singapore on March 31. Bangladesh’s hopes of reaching the main stage of the Asian Cup have already ended. The team has so far won one of five qualifiers, a victory against India at home last November, along with two wins and two draws in other matches, totaling 5 points.

Defenders: Tariq Kazi, Rahmat Mia, Shakil Ahad, Abdullah Omar, Zayan Ahmed, Bishwanath Ghosh, Saad Uddin
Midfielders: Kazem Shah, Sheikh Morsalin, Jamal Bhuiyan, Sohel Rana, Mohammad Hridoy, Shamit Som, Hamza Chowdhury
Forwards: Arman Faisal, Sumon Reza, Shahriar Emon, Faisal Ahmed, Fahamidul Islam, Mirajul Islam
The team will aim to finish the qualifiers strongly and build momentum for future international fixtures.
