Oslo, May 22 (V7N)- Norway have announced their final 26-man squad for the upcoming FIFA World Cup, with Arsenal midfielder Martin Ødegaard named as captain and Manchester City striker Erling Haaland leading the attack.

The squad announcement was presented in a special video message shared on social media, marking Norway’s return to the World Cup after 28 years. The team has been in strong form, winning all eight of their qualifying matches.

A surprise inclusion in the squad is goalkeeper Sander Tangvik, who earns his first major tournament call-up. Other notable selections include Oscar Bobb and Jørgen Strand Larsen, adding depth to Norway’s attacking options.
