Tel Aviv, June 20 (V7N) – Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has declared that Israel's military operations against Iran will continue “as long as necessary,” emphasizing the threat posed by Iran’s missile and nuclear programs.

Netanyahu made the remarks while visiting a science institute south of Tel Aviv on Friday, which was damaged during Iran’s recent missile attack. Responding to reporters, he justified the continued offensive, citing Iran as a direct threat to Israel’s existence.

“This is a double threat. On one side, there are missiles—not one or two, but 20,000 missiles. And on the other side, there are nuclear bombs, also in the hands of this crazy regime,” Netanyahu said.

The Iranian missile strike on Sunday targeted several facilities, including a research laboratory at the science institute. Significant damage was reported to multiple buildings in the complex.

The escalation between Israel and Iran follows mutual attacks on strategic installations, raising fears of a broader regional conflict. Netanyahu reiterated that Israel’s actions are defensive, aimed at neutralizing existential threats.
