Jerusalem, Mar 11 (V7N) – Israel’s early warning system has reportedly faced technical problems amid renewed missile attacks from Iran and rocket fire from Hezbollah, with sirens not sounding in several areas during the strikes.
According to a report by Al Jazeera on Tuesday (March 10), one such incident occurred in the city of Beit Shemesh, where a satellite station was reportedly damaged during the attacks.
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said the malfunction in the early warning system is currently under investigation.
Security concerns have also grown among Israelis, as analysts believe attacks on several radar stations in the region—particularly those linked to US military installations—may have weakened a key advantage of Israel’s early warning and defense network.
Meanwhile, experts say Iranian missiles are now capable of striking deeper inside Israel, increasing concerns over national security. However, Israel’s military censorship rules continue to place strict limits on the release of detailed information about the attacks and their impact.
