Nov 29 (V7N)- Manchester United secured a narrow 3-2 victory over Norwegian side Bodo/Glimt in a pulsating Europa League group stage match at Old Trafford on Thursday night (November 28). The win marked a significant moment as new coach Ruben Amorim celebrated his first victory in charge of the Red Devils.

United came out firing, with Alejandro Garnacho scoring within the first 40 seconds of the match to give the home side an early lead. However, Bodo/Glimt responded strongly, equalizing in the 19th minute through Hakan Evjen before Philipp Zinckernagel put the visitors ahead just four minutes later. The Red Devils entered halftime trailing 2-1.

The second half saw Manchester United regain control, thanks to Danish striker Rasmus Højlund. The forward scored twice in quick succession early in the half, finding the back of the net in the 49th and 54th minutes to put United ahead 3-2.

Despite some late pressure from Bodo/Glimt, United held firm to secure the win, much to the delight of the Old Trafford faithful.

The victory was particularly significant for coach Ruben Amorim, who recently took over the managerial reins at United. His tactical adjustments at halftime played a crucial role in turning the game around.

With this win, Manchester United keeps their Europa League campaign alive and builds momentum under their new manager. The team will look to carry this form into their upcoming fixtures.
