Grandmaster Sanap Vahap of Turkey and International Master Mohammad Fahad Rahman of Bangladesh drew in the sixth round of the Dubai Police Global Chess Challenge Masters, which was played in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Rahman and Vahap played a Giuoco piano game in which Rahman was dealing with the black pieces. After 75 movements, the game concluded in a tie. After the sixth round of games, Rahman received 3.5 points as a result.
Following the sixth round match, Woman FIDE Master Wadifa Ahmed of the Bangladesh Navy grabbed the lead alone in the points table with 5.5 points in the Begum Laila Alam 14th FIDE Rating Women Chess competition, which was conducted in the hall-room of the Bangladesh Chess Federation. Woman Candidate Master Israt Jahan Diba, Woman Candidate Master Kazi Zarin Tasnim, Woman Candidate Master Ahmed Walijah, and Tasnia Tarannum Orpa were the four players that shared the second place with five points. Furthermore, five players—Woman FIDE Master Zakia Sultana, Woman Candidate Master Jannatul Ferdous, Woman Candidate Master Warsia Khusbu, Woman Candidate Master Nusrat Jahan Alo, and Tasfia Tahsin Prima—shared third place with 4.5 points apiece.
In the sixth round of games, WFM Wadifa Ahmed defeated WCM Israt Jahan Diba, WFM Zakia Sultana drew with WCM Warsia Khusbu, WCM Ahmed Walijah defeated WFM Nazrana Khan Eva, WCM Kazi Zarin Tasnim beat Nusrat Jahan Liza, Tasnia Tarannum Orpa defeated WIM Rani Hamid, WCM Jannatul Ferdous defeated Kishoara Shajrin Evana, Khandakar Aneeka Mowla drew with WFM Tanima Parveen, and Tasfia Tahsin Prema beat Omnia Binte Yusuf Lubaba, while WCM Nusrat Jahan Alo defeated Dilara Jahan Nupur.
