Dhaka, Feb 20 (V7N) – Chief Advisor Dr. Muhammad Yunus emphasized the strength, energy, and creativity of Bangladesh’s young generation, stating that they dream bigger and bolder than any previous generation.

He made these remarks at the Ekushey Padak distribution ceremony held at the Osmani Memorial Auditorium in Dhaka on Thursday (February 20).

"Our boys and girls are ready. They aspire to build a new civilization free from the shackles of a self-destructive system. This new civilization will ensure equal rights to all, provide opportunities for everyone to dream and achieve, and protect the health of all living beings on Earth," Dr. Yunus said.

On the occasion of International Mother Language Day 2025, he expressed hope that the youth's vision for a just and equitable world would soon become a reality.

Referring to the August 5 uprising last year, Dr. Yunus stated, "Through the student, worker, and people's movement, we have gained a new Bangladesh. This victory has given us the opportunity to build a better future."

Congratulating the Ekushey Padak recipients, he added, "The nation is grateful for your contributions. You are our guides, and your achievements will continue to inspire Bangladesh to establish itself as a strong and respected presence in the world."
