Dhaka, Mar 09 (V7N)-Foreign Adviser Md Touhid Hossain and Pakistani Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar held a meeting in Jeddah on Sunday.

According to a press release from the Pakistan High Commission in Dhaka, the meeting was held in a cordial environment, reflecting the fraternal sentiments shared by both sides.


The two leaders met on the sidelines of the Extraordinary Meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) on Friday.

During the meeting, both dignitaries expressed satisfaction with the upward trajectory of bilateral relations and agreed to enhance cooperation in all areas of mutual interest, according to the press release.

They highlighted the historical, religious, and cultural linkages between the two countries and further agreed to strengthen collaboration, particularly in trade, people-to-people contacts, and cultural exchanges, it added.
