Dhaka, Aug 20 (V7N)- The government has appointed new Deputy Commissioners (DCs) in Natore, Gaibandha and Rangpur districts.
The Ministry of Public Administration issued a notification in this regard on Wednesday (August 19) night.
According to the notification, Deputy Secretary of the Posts and Telecommunications Department Sumoni Akhter has been appointed as the new DC of Natore.
Dr. Md. Moniruzzaman, private secretary to the Minister of Local Government, Rural Development and Cooperatives, has been appointed DC of Gaibandha.
Meanwhile, Deputy Secretary of the Ministry of Home Affairs Israt Jahan has been appointed as the new DC of Rangpur.
Earlier on Tuesday, Natore DC Asma Shaheen, Gaibandha DC Mohammad Masudur Rahman and Rangpur DC Mohammad Ruhul Amin were withdrawn from their respective posts.
They were subsequently assigned to the Ministry of Public Administration for further posting.
