RAJSHAHI, 07 (V7N) - ‘Campus to Career Talk-2026’ at NBIU The Department of Political Science and Democracy Practice Center (DPC) of North Bengal International University (NBIU) jointly organized a seminar titled “Campus to Career Talk-2026” on Thursday (May 7). The seminar was graced by Rajshahi City Corporation Administrator Md. Mahfuzur Rahman Riton as the chief guest.
In his speech, Riton emphasized that in today’s competitive world, institutional education alone is not enough—skills, leadership qualities, and practical experience are equally important. He urged students to acquire contemporary knowledge to become competent human resources.
During the program, quiz and merit scholarship winners were awarded. NBIU Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. M. Sayedur Rahman welcomed the chief guest with floral greetings and presented a crest of honor. Special guests included Professor Mohammad Mahmudur Rahman, Chairman of the Department of Political Science at Rajshahi University, and Professor Dr. Farhat Tasnim of the same department. The seminar was presided over by NBIU Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. M. Sayedur Rahman, while Professor Dr. M. Moksudur Rahman, Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences, delivered the welcome speech.
The event also unveiled the new name of the DPC. Faculty members, students, invited guests, and representatives from various departments attended.
RUET Holds 112th Syndicate Meeting The 112th Syndicate Meeting of Rajshahi University of Engineering and Technology (RUET) was held on Wednesday (May 6) at the university’s conference room. Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. S.M. Abdur Razzak presided over the meeting.
One of the key decisions taken was the approval to regularize 27 employees who had long been working on the master roll, following proper procedures. At the beginning of the meeting, the Vice-Chancellor welcomed the new syndicate members with flowers.
