Tangail, Oct 29 (V7N)- Mawlana Bhashani Science and Technology University (MBSTU) extended a warm welcome to its newest batch of students with a vibrant ceremony on Monday morning. The event began at 9:30 am, with Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Md. Anwarul Azim Akhand greeting students with flowers in a display of hospitality and encouragement.

The ceremony was attended by prominent university figures, including Professor Dr. Md. Fazlul Karim, Director of the Student Welfare and Counseling Center, Professor Dr. Md. Imam Hossain, Proctor of the university, along with faculty deans and department chairpersons.

Addressing the students, Vice-Chancellor Dr. Anwarul Azim Akhand acknowledged their achievement in gaining admission to a public university through rigorous competition. "University is a place of open learning," he said, highlighting the campus as a center of knowledge creation and dissemination. Dr. Akhand reassured students, "You will never feel alone. Welcome to the beautiful and organized campus of MBSTU. Here, you will follow university rules, engage in knowledge acquisition, and coordinate with faculty in research activities."

He further emphasized that the university administration and faculty would act as guardians throughout the students' academic journey. "Our door is always open for you," he concluded, inviting them to make the most of the resources and support available.
