Six ASPs from 40th BCS lose jobs

Dhaka, Feb 20 (V7N) –Six officers holding the position of probationary assistant superintendent of police (ASP) from the 40th BCS batch, who were undergoing training at the Bangladesh Police Academy in Sardah, Rajshahi, have been dismissed from government service.

This information was provided in a notice issued on Thursday by the Police Branch-1 of the Public Security Division of the Ministry of Home Affairs.


The notice was signed by Senior Assistant Secretary Touzef Ahmed on behalf of the president.

The six ASPs who were dismissed are: Mohammad Ashrafuzzaman, Manas Kirtaniya, Shantu Roy, Mohammad Shohel Rahman, Kazi Faizul Karim, and Sanjeeb Deb.

The notice states that they were dismissed from government service in accordance with Section 6(2) of the BCS Recruitment Rules, 1981.
