DHAKA, March 22 (V7N) – The Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC) will cover all medical expenses of electrical lineman Salauddin Ahmed, who was injured while providing emergency civic services during the Eid holidays.  

DSCC Administrator and Freedom Fighter Md Abdus Salam announced this while visiting Salauddin, who is currently undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Dhanmondi.  

Speaking to journalists after the hospital visit, Salam said the incident was deeply unfortunate and noted that the Prime Minister had directly instructed him to ensure all necessary medical support for the injured worker.  

He added that the city corporation is making every possible effort for Salauddin’s recovery. “His condition is improving compared to before, and he is now out of danger,” Salam said.  

Salauddin Ahmed sustained serious injuries to his head and arm after falling from an electric pole while performing duties in Ward No. 36 on March 20, the day before Eid.
