Dhaka, Mar 20 (V7N) — The president of Dhaka District Jubo Dal, Yasin Ferdous Murad, has alleged that the ruling Awami League is continuing its practice of blaming the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) for various incidents across the country. He claimed that this is part of a political blame game that has persisted under the ruling party’s governance.
Speaking at an iftar gathering organized by Gamgutia Union BNP and its affiliated organizations in Dhamrai on Thursday, Murad said, "Whenever something happens anywhere in the country, BNP is immediately held responsible. A faction of opportunistic groups, along with defeated forces, is conspiring against us. Everyone must remain vigilant against such tactics."
Murad emphasized that the country is going through a difficult period, and BNP has been showing patience and tolerance toward all. However, he made it clear that this should not be interpreted as weakness.
"If someone tries to falsely accuse us of wrongdoing, we will not accept it," he stated.
He also cautioned against misuse of the party’s name, urging BNP activists and supporters to stay disciplined and not engage in unethical or disruptive activities.
"We must ensure that no one—whether from our party or from expelled Awami League factions—takes advantage of the situation to create unrest. Anyone involved in misconduct will face strict organizational action. No one will be spared," he warned.
The event was presided over by local BNP leader Taimur Hossain Tola Mia, with speeches from several prominent figures, including Dewan Lokman Hossain, Ebadul Haque Zahid, Sunil Saha, Ismail Hossain Sumon, Ayub Ali, Sharif, Ismail Hossain, Anisur Rahman, and Mukleshur Rahman.
