Madrid, Sep 30 (V7N)- Spain defeated Croatia 4-1 on Tuesday, with Lamine Yamal scoring twice as the reigning world champions continued their strong run with a convincing victory on home soil.
Spain made a fast start at the Santiago Bernabéu, with Yamal opening the scoring just two minutes into the match.
Croatia responded in the 28th minute when Dion Beljo headed home from an Ivan Perišić cross to level the score.
Spain regained the lead only three minutes later. Marc Pubill found the net to put the hosts 2-1 ahead before the interval.
