Rajshahi, Feb 24, (V7N) - In the concluding speech at the passing-out parade of the 40th BCS Police Cadre trainees at the Sarada Police Academy, Home Affairs Advisor, Lt. Gen. (Retd.) Mohammad Jahangir Alam Chowdhury, urged the newly appointed assistant superintendents to stay vigilant against any exploitation that could turn them into servants of vested interests. He emphasized the importance of fairness, equality, and adherence to justice, regardless of political or religious affiliations.
During the ceremony, the Advisor stressed that the police force should serve as a symbol of protection and justice for the people, rather than a symbol of power. He further encouraged the officers to embody honesty, competence, and professionalism, becoming exemplary figures of public service and ensuring a harassment-free environment for those seeking assistance.
The Advisor also reminded the trainees of their significant role in promoting an unbiased Bangladesh and urged them to be responsible when utilizing social media, as it impacts both their professional and personal lives. The ceremony saw the presence of several key officials, including IGP Baharul Alam and Sarada Police Academy Principal Mohammad Masudur Rahman Bhuiyan.
The best performer awards were given to ASP Mohammad Ruhul Amin Labu and ASP M. Sayelin for their exceptional academic and field activities. The ceremony was attended by various distinguished figures, including Major General S M Asadul Haque and Professor Dr. Mohammad Zawadul Haque.
