Nov 12, V7N- An Israeli airstrike late Monday killed seven people at a café near Khan Younis in southern Gaza, Palestinian medics reported, bringing the death toll from Israeli strikes since Sunday night to at least 37. In Nuseirat, an Israeli tank incursion overnight and into Monday caused widespread panic, with 20 people killed, including some in a tent encampment. Residents described being caught by surprise as advancing tanks opened fire, forcing families to flee with whatever belongings they could carry. The Israeli military has not commented on these events.
 
The ongoing conflict, now in its 14th month, sees Israel intensifying operations in northern and central Gaza. Israeli forces claim their campaign aims to dismantle Hamas militants and prevent further attacks. Tens of thousands of Palestinian residents have been ordered to evacuate these areas, raising fears they may not be able to return. Meanwhile, efforts for a ceasefire have stalled, with mediator Qatar halting negotiations due to a lack of willingness from both sides.
