DHAKA, March 8, (V7N) — The Bangladesh government has invited stakeholders and the public to provide their opinions on the draft of the "July Uprising Directorate Ordinance 2025" by March 15.

The Ministry of Liberation War Affairs has proposed the establishment of a new directorate dedicated to:

Preserving the history and memory of the July Uprising.

Rehabilitating the families of martyrs and injured students.

Promoting the ideals and spirit of the uprising in state and national life.

A memorandum issued today stated that all concerned individuals and organizations are requested to send their feedback and suggestions on the draft ordinance to the following:
