Dhaka, Mar 18 (V7N) - Yasin Ferdous Murad, President of the Dhaka District Jubo Dal, has stated that the public will not accept any attempts to delay the upcoming elections. He emphasized that unnecessary delays under the guise of reforms are completely unacceptable.

He made these remarks on Tuesday while attending an Iftar gathering organized by Sanora Union BNP and its affiliated organizations in Dhamrai. The event was held at Mahisashi Purbo Para Islamiya Madrasa field.

Murad expressed deep concern over the current law and order situation in the country, stating that a democratically elected government is the only way to restore stability. He urged authorities to announce the election date without further delay.

He further added that over the past six months, oppressive forces have maintained their stronghold within various state institutions, continuously conspiring against Bangladesh. He called for unity and resistance against such conspirators, urging all citizens to stand together to ensure a tyranny-free Bangladesh and establish full democracy in the country.

The event, presided over by local leader Abdul Jalil, was attended by Sabina Yasmin, M.A. Jalil, Khandakar Abu Taher Mukut, Khalilur Rahman, Aminul Islam, Jubo Dal leader Ebadul Haque Jahid, Monirul Islam, Ismail Hossain Suman, and Ishtiaq Ahmed Faruq, among others.
