Director General Bangladesh Coast Guard visited the coastal area bordering Teknaf On Sunday, April 21, Media Officer of the Coast Guard Headquarters, Lt. Commander Khandaker Munif Taqi gave this information.

Attempts of various kinds including smuggling, smuggling of drugs are visible. Consequently, the Bangladesh Coast Guard has maintained a strong presence in the Naf River and adjacent areas and other coastal areas through modern high-speed boats and patrol vessels. Members of Bangladesh Coast Guard are always keeping a watchful eye through regular patrolling in the border areas.
Director General Bangladesh Coast Guard Rear Admiral Mir Ershad Ali, OSP, NPP, NDC, PSC visited the area adjacent to Naf River in Teknaf to monitor the activities of Bangladesh Coast Guard in the border area. Considering the conflict situation in Myanmar, Bangladesh Coast Guard has continued 24-hour security patrol in Naf River to prevent all kinds of intrusion.
