DHAKA, Feb 15, (V7N) – Imran Hasan and Shaolin Sigma emerged as champions in the men's and women's categories at the Run Bangladesh International Marathon, held at Hatirjheel on Friday.

This was the second edition of the marathon, with 2,500 runners from home and abroad participating. Organized by Run Bangladesh, the event aimed to promote a healthy lifestyle and raise awareness about protecting Dhaka’s heritage.
Race Results

Participants competed in two distance categories:

 25 km Men’s Category
 Champion: Imran Hasan (1 hour 33 minutes 29 seconds)
 Runner-up: Tanim Al Jisan
 Third place: Ranjan Ghosh

 25 km Women’s Category
 Champion: Shaolin Sigma (2 hours 3 minutes 7 seconds)
 Runner-up: Parul Das
 Third place: Rebeka Sultana

 10.3 km Category
 Men’s Champion: Dwip Talukdar
 Women’s Champion: Hamida Akhter Jeba

 3 km Kids’ Run
 Boys' Champion: Abhi Islam
 Girls' Champion: Samiha Sneha
